The sixth SCAPE installed contemporary public artworks by Ahmet Öğüt, Ash Keating, Anton Parsons, Darryn George, Joanna Langford, Ruth Watson and Richard Maloy in Christchurch New Zealand. This video tells the extraordinary story of these artworks.

SCAPE Public Art is pleased to have presented these sixth SCAPE artists’ projects after being interrupted twice by Christchurch’s earthquakes in September 2010 and February 2011.

The 2010 rethought event achieved an even broader national audience; producing large-scale public artworks for temporary display in Auckland and Christchurch.

SCAPE 6 launched in Auckland in conjunction with the Auckland Art Fair from the 4th to the 7th of August 2011, and launched in Christchurch on the 12th of August 2011 with the support of the Christchurch Arts Festival.
